The Medical Assistant program has two modules: Back Office and Front Office. Each module may be taken individually. You increase your employment opportunities by taking both.

 

Front Office

In the Medical Assistant Front Office Module, you will learn secretarial, clerical, and reception skills needed to work in the medical front office. 

Registration for the Front Office Module begins in December 2024.

 

Back Office

In the Medical Assistant Back Office Module you will learn about principles of infection control, diagnostic tests, medications, administering injections and more.

Registration for the Back Office Module begins on July 22, 2024.

Class Schedule	Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday, 5:00 PM - 9:15 PM
Cost Includes the textbook	Front Office - $1,000  Back Office - $1,000 Payment options:  Debit/credit cards, cash, or money orders.
Registration, Orientation and Placement Testing	Registration for orientation and placement testing for  the upcoming session will begin on July 22, 2024
Prerequisites	Placement Exam - reading comprehension
Location	5246 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Lynwood, CA 90262 *Student parking is available on site.
